Dr. Gupta was born in India in a family of physicians. Her mom is a well-established OBGYN in India. Being brought up by parents who are both physicians, medicine has become her second nature.
After finishing medical school, she moved to Chicago. She completed her OBGYN residency at Mount Sinai hospital, serving as chief resident and administrative chief in her final year. She was recognized by her fellow students and teachers as very dynamic, empathetic and compassionate physician. She received the best teaching resident award during her final year.
Dr. Gupta’s areas of interest include complete obstetrical care, high risk pregnancies, menopause wellness, infertility care and medical and surgical management of women’s health problems including pelvic pain, menstrual problems, weight management and much more. She likes to keep up to date with the latest recommendations and guidelines. She has many articles and case reports published in journals.
Her interests outside of medicine include dance, music and sports. She likes to spend time with her husband and two kids. She is fluent in Hindi.
