Dr. Richard Salter

Meet Dr. Salter

Dr. Richard Salter was born and raised in Memphis, Tennessee. He attended Abilene Christian University and graduated Cum Laude in 1983, graduated from Texas Tech Medical School 1988, and completed his residency at The University of Kentucky in 1992.

He spent 2 years practicing in Texarkana. Dr. Salter moved to Dallas and has practiced in north Dallas since 1995. In 2008 Dr. Salter was a founding partner of Advanced OB-GYN Associates.

Dr. Salter is married, and he and his wife have three children. When not at the hospital or office, he and his family enjoy all outdoor activities, including running, snowboarding, scuba diving, tennis and golf. He is actively trying to fulfill a lifelong desire in learning to play the guitar.
