I am enthusiastic about educating and supporting women
to minimize fear and empower them to care for
themselves.
Angel is a board-certified Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner with a passion for women’s
health that began during her Maternity rotation in nursing school. She was delighted to
learn many years later she was continuing a rich generational legacy; upon discovering her
maternal grandmother serviced her community as a lay midwife in a small farming
township in East Texas.
Angel’s goal is to always treat patients with the respect they deserve, provide individualized
health care with an emphasis on the importance of honest communication. She meets with
each patient and addresses her specific concerns with a mutual agreed upon plan of care.
As a proud Texan and University of Texas graduate, she strives to provide exceptional
healthcare to residents of Texas. Angel has a special interest in the diagnosis and
management of Perimenopausal/Menopausal women with prescribing of Hormone
Therapy and Supplements) regimens, as well Adolescent Gynecological Care and
Contraceptive management during the reproductive years.
As a native Texan, she of course is a graduate of The University of Texas System and
completed her Advanced Nurse education from The University of Texas at Southwestern in
Dallas, Texas and has spent her entire Nursing career in Women’s and Infants Health Care.
Outside of her clinical practice, she enjoys outdoor activities and volunteers regularly in her
community. She also volunteers to serve as a Preceptor for other Nurses and Nurse
Practitioner students.
